Today we are extremely excited to be premiering the new single from Byron Bay artist The Astral Plane Parade. Songwriter, Hugo is widely known for his previous work under his project Toy Boats and has explained that this new endeavour seeks to inspire a positive view of the world without denying the existence of tragedy.

Are You A Space Invader "explores the sunny side of love and celebrates the time spent in bliss rather than ruminating on its encroaching end." The song feels like a love song that expresses an emotion of longing as well as a truly beautiful, pure and intimate appreciation of the song's subject. The delicacy of Hugo's voice over the quiet acoustic guitar is hauntingly beauteous.

This is the just the second song that Hugo has released under The Astral Plane Parade however he has been active under the name this year via live shows and poetry exhibitions.
