HUMAN CONDITION

Moodie Gloom, a two-piece from Brisbane, is the collective creation of Madalene Stewart and Andrew Jelinek. They have played plenty of shows around Brisbane and you have probably seen them pop up on events, including our Against the Grain Festival.

Post-rock guitar coupled with anti-folk piano creates a unique and captivating soundscape. The two musicians would describe the music as a melting pot of: classical pop/anti folk and post-rock, influenced by a plethora of musicians. Maddie's vocals are similar to that of Regina Spektor mixed with unconventional heavily effected guitar tones creating something unfamiliar and captivating. Today we are very excited to be sharing their debut single Human Condition out through New Farm Records.
