Handcuff Season also happens to be the name of the powerful debut single of Brisbane four-piece In Real Life. 

 

Drawing inspiration from the often-overlooked issues faced by every day people, front man Alex once told me that “[He’ll] stop shouting when society starts talking”. The sound itself bears resemblances to 90s emo and on first listening to the song it feels as though you are being invited into a very personal and fragile part of Alex’s world.
